At Messy Church in May we learned about BIG things growing from small beginnings. 

In the Gospel (Luke 13:18-19) Jesus tells this parable:

“What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to?

It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden.

It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.”

In our activities the children got a chance to plant mustard seeds to take home and grow.

We also had fun with cooking, making hats of fire and dancing round the Maypole!
