Come and Sing Handel's Messiah (excerpts!)

We know it will be a disappointment for all of you who signed up for this workshop but, regretfully, the event has had to be postponed - there were just not enough folk to make the event work on 6th December. However, we are working on fixing a new date in 2026 at a time when the pressure of other events happening is less. 

If you'd like to get updates on how our planning for the new date is progressing then just just leave a message here  and we will add your email to our circulation list.   Your message can be as simple as "Handel please!"

Let's get together and sing excerpts from Handel's Messiah - it's gonna be epic!                                                                          

Join us for a joyous day at St Mary's Church, Purton as we sing choral excerpts from Handel's masterpiece, Messiah, together. Whether you're a seasoned singer or just love to belt out the Hallelujah chorus in the shower, this event is for you! Let's come together to celebrate the holiday season with beautiful music and good company. No auditions, no pressure, just pure musical fun. Mark your calendars and invite your friends!

With an evening performance to close our time together, it's going to be a day to remember! The evening performance, at 5:30pm, will be free entry (with a retiring collection in aid of St.Mary's Purton), so it's an excellent opportunity to invite family and friends for a very special Advent evening!
