"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (v1a). Ian reminds us that, as we prepare to open up our Church building again, it is timely that we revisit other areas of our lives  - our home, our security, our work and our families - areas that we seek to 'build up' by our own efforts. Instead, God wants us to use these areas as opportunities to become more reliant on Him and less dependent on our own abilities.
