We continue to welcome the Church Family and the Community back into St Mary’s Church in the months ahead.  In particular, we welcome you to the Grand re-opening service on Sunday 5th September at 10.30am with the Bishop of Bristol, when together we can thank God for His provision for our needs and mourn the grief and loss many have experienced in the past 18 months.

Now that many Covid Restrictions have been eased we are able to offer more services in Church. We also want to continue to provide a quality act of worship on Zoom for those who are unable to come to Church for whatever reason. This is proving to be more of a challenge than we initially imagined - managing the technology so that we can have a service on Zoom and in the Building at the same time is difficult - however, we will continue to work at this!

The planned services for August and September are as follows:

1st August

8.00am Holy Communion in St Mary’s Church

10.30am  Service in St Mary’s Church (and on Zoom)

 8th August

10.30am Holy Communion in St Mary’s Church (and on Zoom as "An Act of Celebration of Communion")

We still want to remain Covid secure in an environment with less regulations. So we ask you to wear a mask (at services) and to sanitise your hands as you enter, along with leaving us with your contact details in case a Covid case is identified (but no need to book your place in advance). We are aiming to be able to hold larger services for baptisms and funerals, and hopefully to open the Church for private prayer. Please bear with us in this time of change as we seek to provide events and services both to help people to get to know Christ better and to make Christ known to our community.
